Postpartum depression, birth of first child, mother child interaction, couple time, balancing work and family life and personal needs.
Women who have returned to work after having a child and are experiencing difficulty adjusting to a new life style may need help to examine their new life style, demands, and needs. Women may have unique concerns with respect to relationships, transitions hormonally (which affect mood and sleep), eating patterns, and body image – all of which need special attention from a doctor who is sensitive to the complexities of women’s lives.
Call the Columbia Counseling Center and speak with a doctor who can assess the severity or interference with your daily life when it comes to your unique concerns.
