Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Overview
Sometimes people suffer from recurrent nightmares as a result of experiencing a traumatic event. People often have unwanted fearful thoughts following an extraordinary life threatening event. After a serious accident, people may feel irritable, agitated, depressed, or anxious which is immediate onset PTSD. However, PTSD can be a result of early trauma and present as a delayed response after many years.
