Dr. Ojie is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Maryland and New York. She has several years of training and experience conducting individual, family, and group psychotherapy, assessments, and research with a wide variety of individuals. She specializes in using Cognitive Behavioral strategies to treat various presenting conditions including anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), mood disorders, social and behavioral difficulties, and managing various stressful situations in children, adolescents, and young adults. Dr. Ojie has experience working with couples that have recently separated and require assistance with developing a positive and high quality co-parenting relationship.
Dr. Ojie received a PhD in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Child and Adolescent Psychology from St. John’s University in Queens, New York in 2014. Before attending St. John’s University, Dr. Ojie received a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Education from Columbia University, Teachers College. Dr. Ojie completed postdoctoral fellowships at Weill Cornell Medical College as well as the Kennedy Krieger Institute – Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Previous treatment settings include university counseling centers, hospital inpatient, and private practice.
